About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do I need a visa for China?

I will be on a cruise in October, 2020 from Los Angeles. It stops in Tianjin, and I plan to stay overnight in Beijing to visit the Great Wall. The port stop before and after Tianjin is South Korea. The cruise ends in Shanghai. I will be leaving Shanghai on a flight home to Los Angeles.

The chinese border is closed for all foreign tourists and visa free transit is blocked.

And when you travel on a US passport, you won't be allowed to enter South Korea too as long as your government don't do anything to stop the pandemic in your country.
