About:Apply for China Visa in a Third Country

Can I apply for Chinese visa in Macau As I am holding an US passport?

Hi, my Chinese visa has voided as I stayed over the allowance time in China. Can I go to Macau to apply for another Chinese visa when the boarder opens? What is the chance I will get it? Thanks.
