About:10-year China Visa

10 year visa

I got my Chinese Visa (10-year) with US passport about 5 years ago. By the end of this year (2020), I may need to go back to China for a family visit. May I use this visa for entry without applying a new visa, due to this Covid-19 pandemic? Thanks much!

No. Only Chinese citizens are allowed entry into China. Foreigners are forbidden.

@brian while that was correct
However now it is officially open again, though I wouldn't exactly trust that. And you may have to have a cleared test and still do 14 days quarantine. This is why I haven't left Beijing

Also many hotels won't take you right now even with foreigner hosting cert. See related stories
I work indirectly for official channels in the arts and media. So hearing many conflicting things,but also hearing official channels from the horses mouth so to speak. Good luck Doug

I am trying to figure out this very question. I have a booked flight from Tokyo and I am trying to chase down the validity of my VISA. Delta and United are also flying from the US now. It is all very confusing.
