Visa Extension

Hi there,

I'm still in China, my work permit, and residence permit expire on July 31st. Will the 2 month extension apply to my residence permit?

If you did not use the 2 month extension before, it applies to your residence permit, but you had better further check this at the local exit and entry administration.

Thanks Charlie, I didn't see your reply till now.

A Chinese friend spoke to the Entry and Exit Bureau for me (they English phone in service has been suspended), and as far as they can gather a residency permit that expires before the end of this month (June) has the automatic extension. But they have not decided yet if a permit that expires in July will also be covered - depending on the current situation..
