About:China Green Card (Permanent Residence Permit)

Obtaining Permanent Residence Card

I have lived in China for 8 Years. Been married to a Chinese citizen for 3 years and have a child. I own a house in China in my name. I have an MA in Translation (Mandarin) and HSK 5. My current job in education gives me more than 4 times the average salary. I have the tax records to prove it.

Would this be enough to apply?

Hi Tony.
As long as you fit all the requirements you can apply. But you have to decide what way you are applying. Marriage, i think you haven’t reached the requirement yet, a few years off, but do check . PSB’s have a range of leaflets explaining everything, suggest you enquire there first for full details. For the salary, you have to have paid over 100k in tax each year for 4 continuous years and be paid over 500k gross each year. Each year doesn’t have to be a calendar year so you can look at you salary and work out how to fit in what is best to match the requirements , ie july to June.
