Chinese visa extension

I'm on an L visa that would expire next week, but get an automatic 2 month extension afterwards. If the crisis is still here in 2 months, how can I extend the visa further? If I cannot, is there anywhere I can exit and be able to come back without a mandatory quarantine?

Your visa can be extended automatically only once,, I went to the exit and entry office yesterday and that is what I was told,,, so don't expect any automatical second extension.

This is the original poster... But can I go to the PSB before the automatic 2 month extension is up and extend it again? For a month or two?

Did you get an answer? I have a similar issue and currently (as far as I know) foreigners aren't allowed to enter the country so leaving to reset the countdown...seems impossible...not to mention not having money for a flight anyway...anyone know the phone numbers for the relevant authorities?

My L visa expired on the 8th of March and I got the two month extension .I got the 1 month extension yesterday on the last day of my visa extension and i had to show the Visa officer i had over 20 000 in RMB to take care of myself. I can't leave at the moment because there are no flights back to South Africa at the moment. The South African embassy is planning a flight with Cathy Pacific in the NEAR FUTURE(I don't know when this is). If there is no flights in the future then I am screwed even though i have the means to return but can't since there are no flights back to South Africa.
