About:Chinese Embassy in Pakistan

Residence permit expires during Covid 19

Hi
I work in Beijing and currently in Pakistan because of spread of corona virus. My residence permit will expire by the end of April during the ban on foreigners for visiting China. What should I do? Apply for new visa? Which category? In pakistan can’t get police certified as all offices are closed now.Is embassy issuing visas nowadays? Any advice will be appreciated.
Regards

Yes, you need to apply for a new visa. Specifically speaking, if you want to continue to work in China, you need to get a Z category. The embassy has stopped to issue visa now, so you need to wait until they resume to normal operation.
