Z Visa extension

Hi, I'm on a Z Visa expiring 2nd April and currently back in the UK due to the Coronavirus. Is it possible to get an extension from the UK?

A residence permit is not a visa. If you have a residence permit then you have to renew it at the municipal NIA that issued it and all documentation must be submitted no less than 30 days before your residence permit expires (which is 23 March for you). If you missed this deadline then the extension will not be acccepted and you must get a new Z visa outside China.
