About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour visa free transit permit

We will be staying in Beijing for 5 days prior to going on an ocean cruise in October. We would qualify for the 144 hour visa free transit permit. We need to complete Arrival/Departure Cards in order to apply for the transit permit. Do we fill out this card when we arrive at Beijing airport or do we need to fill this out prior to leaving Canada? We want to ensure we have the required documentation before leaving Home.

On arrival in Beijing. Make sure your first port of call after Beijing is not in China.
