30 day visa free entry extension

Hello,

I am from Serbia, i entered china to visit my girlfriend and friends without a visa (serbia has 30 days visa free entry, instead of the 30 day L tourist visa) i lived in china before with a student x2 visa.

My question is, can i extend my stay here in china without leaving the country? I usually fly home and then come back right away because i wanna stay with my girlfriend....but now i would avoid that if possible because of the virus that is going on....
Ideally i would prefer to wait it out here instead of going to crowded places and risk infecting myself and my family back home...

Max, you need to contact the local exit and entry administration to see if it is still open. If yes, you need to apply for a normal tourist visa there.

yes i was considering doing that they were closed over the weekend should be open now.

i am in a relatively small city tho... do i need to go to the one in Beijing or the capital of the province at least? or is any city that has a PSB fine?

Your county or municipal-level National Immigration Administration office handles the extension. The PSB only handles residence registration and nothing else beyond that.
