About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour Visa?

I will fly into Shanghai from USA then board a cruise ship with two stops in Japan before returning to Shanghai to fly back to USA. I may need hotel in Shanghai both stops depending on flight availability and time differences. Will 24 hour visa free work for me?

It will, although flight schedules are erratic at the moment and you will not be eligible if your flight has been rerouted to another city in Mainland China or Japan.
