About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Australia to Beijing to Guangzhou to Australia

Can I use the 144 hour visa free for travel Adelaide (Australia) to Beijing (2 nights) then travel Beijing to Guangzhou (2 nights) and then travel Guangzhou to Adelaide (Australia)

Of course not. It’s not a transit to a third country. Even if it was, the two stops in China would limit you to 24 hours. You need a visa.
