About:Visa on Arrival

Indonesian pasport for shenzhen VOA

Hi we are Indonesian,
We will visit Hong Kong and plan to go to Shen Zhen as well for 3 days. Can we apply for Shen Zhen VOA and how much is the cost? Thanks

Yes, you can. The fee for SZ VOA is the same as a regular visa. It is CNY168 for the most, but not all countries.

Thanks for your answer, but i did search more and found that Indonesian citizens can get the VOA if they granted a chinese visa previously. Or is the rule change already ?

Unfortunately, Indonesian citizens are not eligible for a Shenzhen VOA. You should definitely disregard the above written answer because it is wrong. You are advised to obtain a Chinese visa in advance or to change your travel plans.

Sonny, this detail is written on this website, but this website was not updated for too long time. In other words, Indonesian citizens are not eligible for a Shenzhen VOA at all. Again, you are advised to obtain a Chinese visa in advance or to change your travel plans.

Sonny, As I check, the detail written on website is modified Dec 31, 2019, so I believe you still can apply the VOA at Lo Hu shen zhen.

This website is chronically not updated for too long time! They are updating it from time to time just nominally, but the essence is not updated. So, I will repeat, Indonesian citizens are not eligible for a Shenzhen VOA at the time being.
