About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Arriving for 36 hours in Shanghai on a cruise

Do I need a Visa when travelling on a Cruise and visiting Shanghai for a 36 hour overnight berth then onto Tokyo please ?

It will be Hong Kong then at sea to Shanghai overnight stay in port then on to Kobe finish inTokyo.
