About:Visa on Arrival

5 day visa on arrival Shekhou port

We are arriving on a cruise into Shekhou port for 10 hours, we arrive from Singapore and then depart to Hong Kong. We are U.K. Passport holders, can we apply for 5 day VOA at Shekhou port?

Yes, you can. Anyway, it is usual that cruise passengers do not apply for a Shenzhen VOA, but to rely on 24 hour visa free transit if their itinerary is eligible. If you have accurately presented your itinerary, then it is:

Singapore - Shenzhen (Shekou) - Hong Kong

Please, have in mind that only the immediate points before and after Shekou matter.

An itinerary mentioned above is eligible for 24 hour visa free transit, but if any problem occurs and it really should not, you always have this back up alternative in the form of a Shenzhen VOA.
