Visa extension

My 60 day visa is up on January 17. I left China for five days and returned yesterday. Does my visa automatically extend another 60 days now or what do I need to do? Thanks

Dave, if you hold a multiple-entry or double-entry visa, you have activitated another 60-day stay duration automatically after you returned to China.

My visa is good from October 2019 until October 2027 and says category”L” and duration “60 days”. So, I guess I can come and go anytime in that period as long as I don’t stay longer than 60 days at a time. Sound correct? It doesn’t say anywhere “multi entry or double entry”.

The 10 year is only multiple entry, but there should be a section that says entries and then an M.
The 60 days resets after you leave china even for a day.
