About:Shanghai 15-day Visa-free Policy for Cruise Tour Groups

144 Transit Visa

If we fly in to Shanghai on 13 June, embark on 14 June for a cruise, disembark on 21 June, what day would we have to depart SH to meet the 144 hour visa free requirements. Not sure if the 13 June arrival counted as one 144 hour visa free requirement and 21 June restarted a new 144 hour visa free requirement.
Thank you.

Each entry is considered separately. Also make sure countries immediately before and after are different countries. For example If first cruise port is in Japan, the flight to China must not have transit through a Japanese airport.

If your scheduled stop in China is under 24 hours you will only be given the 24 hour transit.
On your return makes sure the next country your flight transfers through is not the same as the last port on the cruise. If stop is schedule over 24 hours you then can get 144 hour visa free transit which is valid for 6 full days (remainder of day on arrival is a bonus and not counted towards the 144 hours)
