Question

Other than the visa application form what other documents do I need to submit for a tourist visa to visit friend in China.  I think I will need a invitation letter, what else?

Well, apart from the application form and invitation letter, you need to submit your passport, which should be valid for at least six months, a recently-taken passport style photo, and a copy of your friend's ID card or residence permit of China.
