About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) -> Beijing -> Taiwan

I am a UK citizen, planning to travel from KL to Beijing (stay for three days), then onward to Taipei. Do I qualify for the 144 hour visa?

If the flights are non-stop then this qualifies. Taiwan (and Macau or Hong Kong) are treated the same a as a third country for visa free transit purposes.
