About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Wuhan

Wuhan visa free transit and stopovers

Hello everyone,
would like to ask if, for the purposes of the above 144 visa-free transit, the stopovers without exiting from the airport in a Chinese region (namely Hong Kong) are counted or not.

To make it clear, an itinerary like this:
First Country > Stopover in Hong Kong without exiting airport > Wuhan > Stopover in Hong Kong without exiting the airport > Third Country (different from First one)
allows to get the 144 visa-free transit in Wuhan?

Thank you in advance for any reply given. Any official Immigration document supporting this would be welcome.
Best regards,

Matt

Unfortunately, your itinerary is not eligible for any kind of visa free transit because of this segment:

Hong Kong - Wuhan - Hong Kong

As you can see, this is considered to be a simple round trip and not a transit.

Anyway, you can make your itinerary eligible for 144 hour visa free transit by making a small correction:

Macau - Wuhan - Hong Kong

Of course, the above flights have to be non stop between Macau and Hong Kong and Wuhan.

You can check your eligibility by using Timatic that is kindly offered to visitors of Air New Zealand website.
