About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Do we need a 72 hr or 144 hr free visa please?

Arrive Pudong 09.10 14 Feb 2020; Join MSC Splendida; depart 17.00 hrs 15 Feb 2020.
Arrive Hong Kong 9:00 hrs; depart 18: hrs 20 Feb 2020.

You will be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area. 72 hour visa free transit has been replaced in Shanghai by 144 hour visa free transit a couple of years ago.

You will print out your cruise ticket and also a confirmation of your accommodation booking for your Shanghai overnight. Also, you will declare at check-in in, I assume UK, that you will travel via Shanghai using 144 hour visa free transit.

Upon your arrival in Shanghai, you will approach 144 hour visa free transit where you will fill out a blue form. Shortly after, you will get a sticker in your passport and be allowed to exit the airport.

One detail more. Your flight from, I assume, UK to Shanghai is not allowed to have any additional stops in mainland China.
