About:10-year China Visa for US and Canadian Citizens

Travelling with two passports

Hi

I'm planning to take the Transmongolian train from Beijing to Russia this summer. My Russian visa is in my US passport. However, I would like to enter and leave China using my New Zealand passport on which I plan to get the Chinese visa issued. Will this create a problem while leaving China at the Mongolian border?

Thank you.

Hasan

That usually won't be a problem, although you won't be eligible for a 10-year visa if applying on a Kiwi passport.
