About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Wuhan

Ist-WH-Guan-Hanoi

I am travelling to Vietnam via Wuhan and Guangzhou, staying in each airport for almost 3 hours. But in Wuhan, I will need to take my luggage and do the check-in again. I have a Moroccan passport.
Would 24h visa apply in my case? and also would I be able to take my luggage and check it in again? although my flight was all with China Southern.

Thank you

The most important detail is that your itinerary is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you don't need any kind of visa.

You will print out your flight tickets and have those printouts with you. Also, you will declare in Istanbul that you will travel to Hanoi via China using 24 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection of your tickets, you will be allowed to board the plane. One more important detail. Here (at the check-in) you will definitely inform yourself about the luggage to know exactly where will you have to intervene and make it certain that your luggage arrives with you in Hanoi :)

Upon arrival in Wuhan, you will approach 24 hours visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit to be allowed to collect your luggage and to perform a recheck for the continuation of your journey to Guangzhou and Hanoi. Also, you will clear an immigration and customs, so your next flight will be a domestic one.

Upon arrival in Guangzhou, you will do whatever necessary regarding your luggage and if this will not be needed, you will just clear the exit formalities (immigration) and proceed to your boarding gate for your flight to Hanoi.
