Does transit visa apply for Traveling route RIX-IST-CAN-IST-RIX

Hi, Does a transit visa apply for the Traveling route:
Riga, Latvia (RIX) - Istanbul Turkey (IST) - Guangzhou (CAN) - Istanbul Turkey (IST) - Riga, Latvia (RIX).
I am planning to stay for 2-3 days in Guangzhou.

Unfortunately, the only segment that matters in the visa free transit scheme is this one:

Istanbul - Guangzhou - Istanbul

As you can see, immediate points before and after your destination in China are in the same country (Türkiye), so this is just a return trip and not a transit through China. I'm sorry to say, but you will need a visa obtained in advance.
