About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

144 hour transit?

Im from NEw Zealand and now in Philippines. Am I eligible for transit visa if my itinerary is PH>Shanghai>Ph

No, unfortunately, you are not because your itinerary is not a transit, but a simple round trip travel. To be eligible for 144 hour visa free transit there should be a third country or eligible territory within your itinerary. Something like this:

Philippines - Shanghai - Hong Kong - Philippines

So, if you introduce a third country or eligible territory, you will be able to enjoy 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area.
