About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24h TWOV requirements

I will have two separate stopovers in China, one arriving from Frankfurt in Shanghai and continuing to Taipeh with a layover time of 23h and the other one arriving from Bangkok in Beijing and continuing to Frankfurt with a layover time of 32h. I have booked hotels in Shanghai and Beijing in advance, my only fear is, that I won't be granted the 24h-TWOV in Shanghai and that I will have to spend the night at the airport. Is the probability high that I can go to my hotel in Shanghai city center?

Could there also be a problem because these two separate layovers are only 20 days apart?

If you have a hotel reservation plus an overnight layover then they don't have much of a reason to hassle you. Separate layovers are never a problem and there is no limit on how many times you can use the transit facility.
