Macau Visa

I am a citizen of India and living in Shanghai on a residence permit of China. I would like to visit Macau for 1 day (day trip) in December. Do I need a visa? If yes, could you guide me through the process? If I don't need a visa, then is there any document that I should take along? Thank you in advance for your help!

You don't need a visa for visits less than 30 days. Immigration will want to see proof of CNY or MOP or HKD 5,000 in cash, a return ticket to Shanghai from Zhuhai or Macau and your proof of accomodation in Macau (not required if not staying overnight). Your Chinese resident permit should also be valid. Keep in mind that entry is at the discretion of immigration even if you meet all requirements.
