About:How to Travel from Hong Kong Airport to Shenzhen

My original plan is to visit Hongkong on 17 Dec'19

but now i intend to change my plan to go to Shenzhen from Hongkong International airport instead due to the recent protest. Should I go to shenzhen by ferry or long distant bus? is it safe to travel by long distant bus?
