About:10-year China Visa for US and Canadian Citizens

I have a 10 year Chinese visa upto Dec16, 2025. It was issued in Dec 2017. Is it still valid?

Is my 10 year visa issued in 2017 for China still valid or have they been cancelled?

It is not valid right now but will soon be valid later in this year.

That is exciting news. I thought my 10-year visa was no longer valid. Airfare is more than doubled since my last visit to China. Is it reasonable to fly to Hong Kong and cross into mainland China from there? That was smooth the last time I did it.

Hi Don Swindler, once your 10-year visa turns valid again, you can fly to HK and cross into the mainland.
