Visa China after Cruise

Dear Ladies and Gentlemen

We are not sure if our customer will need a China Visa for 3 nights.

Routing:
28.2.20 Flight Zurich – Bangkok direct
2.-16.3.20 Cruise AIDA (Bangkok, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Japan, SH)
15.3.20 06:30 Uhr arrival Shanghai
16.-18.3.20 Hotel in SH
18.3.20 09:50 Uhr return flight SH – Zurich direct

Do they need a Visa? Because they will not arrive and depart from the same point.

Many thanks for your attention to this matter.

Best regards

What are their nationalities? I think they qualify for a 144 hour visa free transit based on this route.

They are eligible for it. You can also confirm with airline staff if you still worry about it.
