About:China Visa Entries / Validity / Duration of Stay

Can I apply for a new Chinese visa?

Hi, we traveled with the transmongolian train to China and then further to Vietnam. We stay in South East Asia for 4 months and want to return to China aftherworth. Is it possible to apply for a new visa from Hanoi? We want to travel over land.
