About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

My layover in Shanghai is 9 hours and I would like to leave the airport to visit Shanghai Disneyland

Will the airport allow me a temporary pass to visit the theme park for a couple of hours?

You can ask but it's up to immigration discretion. Many have been refused to leave the airport unless staying overnight at a hotel.
