About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

flying to Beijing from Canada then transferring to Trans Siberian Express train within 72 hrs

do I need a visa ?

You need a visa. The only train available for visa free transit is the every other day overnight train to Hong Kong that leaves from the West Railway Station. The station that Trans-Siberian railway departs from is not one of the approved exit ports from China.
