About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour transit visa

I am a US citizen arriving on a Holland America cruise line from Sasebo Japan to port of Shanghai on February 15 and transiting on the same day to Shanghai Pudong Airport for an American Airlines flight back to Los Angeles, Ca. Do I qualify for 144 hour visa free travel? Also how do I apply for it when I arrive at the Port of Shanghai?Thanks
