About:240-hour Visa-free Transit in Chengdu

Area allowed for the Chengdu is 144 Hours by now right?

HEllo next week i have to fly from Italy to Chengdu via Doha i will get there on sunday afternoon the 30the and leave the 4th of December destination Doha where i stop for 2 days holiday and later come back to Italy .
Is it that ok?

Ok thanks what about Venice Chengdu and Chengdu Ho chi Minh City Vietnam than back to venice directly from HCMC? Is this ok?

If it is Venice-Chengdu-Ho Chi Minh-Venice, then you are eligible for 144 hour visa free transit.

Unfortunately, this is not OK because you are not eligible for any kind of visa free transit because of this portion of your itinerary:

Doha - Chengdu - Doha

As you can see this is a round trip flight and not a transit. Cities immediately before and after your Chinese destination have to be in different countries. If you want to retain this itinerary, you will have to obtain a Chinese visa in advance or alternatively to rearrange your flights.

By the way, Chengdu is eligible for 144 hour visa free transit and starting from December 1 also these localities within Sichuan province:

- Leshan
- Ya'an
- Meishan
- Deyang
- Suining
- Ziyang
- Neijiang
- Luzhou
- Zigong
- Yibin

Anyway, the question is where you will have another stop between Venice and Chengdu because we both know that there is no direct flight between Venice and Chengdu. Please, be very careful because this could ruin your eligibility for 144 hour visa free transit.
