British citizen in Korea applying for Chinese tourist visa

I live in Korea and have an ARC card but only 4 months remaining on it (I will leave Korea before I visit China). Can I still apply for the Visa? I am visiting China at the end of a 3 month South East Asia trip in May 2020.

Yes, it's possible to apply in Korea. Have a try at the CVASC there.
