About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

we are arriving in Shanghi then going to hotel next day within the 24 hours we are booked to fly to

we arrive from London to Shanghai then the next day within 24 hours we are booked to fly to Singapore. we have a hotel booked for the one night. Do we need to obtain a visa before we arrive

Stephen, you don't need to obtain a visa in advance. You can get a printout of your hotel booking in order to leave the airport.
