About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Layover Cost Q

Hi! I will be travelling from Australia to London with a 18hr layover in China. I have booked accommodation near Pudong Airport but just wondering if there is a fee to leave the airport for less then 24hrs? Also which cues should I join to claim my luggage and exit the airport? Thanks

There is no fee for the entry permit but immigration will want to see a printout of your reservation. Do double check with the ground staff at check-in to see whether you need to pick up your luggage.
