About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

China Visa 144 hr exemption?

I’m flying from Taipei to Shanghai mid Dec. stopping at Shanghai for less than 144 hours and then flying to Macau for a few days and back to Taipei using a Canadian passport. Does this route qualify for the 144 hr visa exemption?

Yes, of course. This is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area, but you should just take care that your flights to and from Shanghai are nonstop!
