About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Los Angeles - Shanghai - Singapore

Australia passport holder
Travel from Los Angeles to Shanghai for 72 hours transit visa in China
and flight Shanghai to Singapore.
Is it possible to apply a 72 hours transit visa in China?

SIN-LAX-PVG-SIN is the routing still entitled for 144 hours visa free for Australia passport resident in Singapore?

Your itinerary is definitely eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Shanghai area, of course if you have mentioned your all stops.

By the way, 72 hour visa free transit has been replaced in Shanghai by 144 hour visa free transit a couple of years ago. Also, use correct terminology because it is not 144 hours visa, but 144 hour visa free transit. There is no visa at all!
