Documents for work visa

Hello, I'm going to work in China. Please advise on the steps to follow after having my documents notarised. Do I 1) legalise my docs at the Chinese Embassy, 2) get a letter from my Chinese employer, and 3) Apply for the Work visa? As I live in Cape Town, do I have my application processed at the Cape Town consulate, not the Pretoria embassy? Thanks

1) You need to legalise your docs at the Chinese embassy.
2) You need to get a work permit from your employer.
3) You need to have your application processed at the China Visa Application Service Center in Cape Town.
