About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24 hour visa free transit counter

Hello,

We have an 8 hour layover in Beijing in two weeks. We would like to go to the Great Wall of China. Are there any forms or paperwork we can fill out prior so our stop at the 24 hour visa free transit counter can be as fast as possible. We would love to have as much time in Beijing as we can get.

There is nothing you can do in advance to speed up the process. It is not even guaranteed that you will be permitted to leave the airport for an 8 hour connection.

Saul is definitely right and I suggest you to book a tour to the Great Wall in advance and you will be allowed almost certainly to exit the airport. You should have your tour booking in hard copy, ready to be presented to the relevant authorities.
