Bus Ticket as Proof of Travel to a Third Country

Hello, I am planning to enter Zhuhai port from Macau by bus, and then leave from Zhuhai to Hongkong also by bus. Can the bus reservation be used as supporting document to apply for the 240 hour visa free scheme? Thank you

You can exit from Macau to Zhuhai via Hengqin border crossing and here you do not have to have any ticket or any proof, however, if you want to exit from mainland China (Zhuhai) toward Hong Kong by bus, this is eligible, but you will have to produce (obtain) such a ticket in advance. Or in other words, as soon as you arrive into mainland China (Zhuhai) via Hengqing border crossing you will have to present a possession of your bus ticket, but it has to be a single ticket where it is clearly written that you will travel Zhuhai to Hong Kong. Again, it has to be a single ticket bought as a through option from Zhuhai to Hong Kong. If you cannot produce such a ticket I would suggest you a ferry from Jiuzhou to Hong Kong. That would be easier to obtain because it is really a direct connection between Zhuhai (Jiuzhou port) to Hong Kong. You should check carefully and if there is such a ticket (single, one booking, a through one), you can use it as a proof of your exit from mainland China (Zhuhai) to Hong Kong via HZMB bridge. Have a nice journey.

One important correction. At the very beginning of my previous post I have written that you do not need any ticket or any proof if you cross via Hengqin border crossing. The correct statement is that you can cross Hengqin border crossing by just arriving there, but with an exit ticket from mainland China toward a third country or eligible territory in your hand. Apologies for not being clear enough in my previous post.
