china visa for people who reside outside their home country

Question

I am from Uzbekistan but currently studying in South Korea. I was wondering I can get China tourist Visa from Chinese embassy in Korea. If so what kind of docs should I prepare? Moreover, Im planning to visit my friend who studies in china now, so will it be helpful if she sends me invitation letter even if we are not relatives?Thanks a lot in advance

Yes, you can apply from the CVASC in South Korea. IF you apply for a tourist visa, you can submit your passport, application form, a passport style photo, your study permit in South Korea, and round-trip flight tickets and hotel bookings. You can ask your friend to issue you an invitation letter, but this is not a must-to-do thing.
