About:Transfer in T3 of Beijing Capital Airport

Having a layover in PEK heading to Sapporo and have 8 hours layovers.

I was wondering do I need to go through customs, pick up my luggage and go through check-in again? or can I just stay inside the international airport? I'm taking the same airline.

Like the above article mentioned, you need to go through the transit inspection and accept security inspection, then go through the customs sample check of hand baggage if necessary.
