About:Visa on Arrival

American traveling for 2 days in Shenzhen

Hello,
I am booking my first trip to China. I just wanted to confirm that VOA for 5 days to SZ is still available in hong Kong for Americans citizens? I just want to confirm there have been no changes to American citizen eligibility?

Hi Thank you kindly for your reply. Can you please elaborate on what you mean when you say ID photo? Should i just bring my passport or do i need a second photo with me and My passport?

There have been no changes and US citizens are normally eligible for this type of visa. Please, keep in mind that the price for US citizens is 956 CNY. You are advised to use Lo Wu / Luohu border crossing, to bring a passport size photo and the mentioned amount in Chinese cash that you can easily obtain at Hong Kong money changers.
