About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24hrs TWOV at Changsha

Hello

I'm travelling from Syd to CSX on Hainan airlines and connecting onward with CX to Delhi via Hong Kong.

These are 2 separate tickets. I hold an ETA for Hong Kong and I'm an Indian passport holder.

Am I allowed to use 24hrs TWOV at CSX? My Sydney flight arrive at 5am and Cathy Dragon is at 11.20am.

Yes, your itinerary is definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit and you don't need any kind of visa.

You will print out your flight tickets and have those printouts with you. Also, you will declare at check-in in Sydney that you will travel to Hong Kong and further to Delhi via Changsha, China using 24 hour visa free transit. After a short inspection, you will be allowed to board the plane.

Upon your arrival in Changsha, you will approach 24 hour visa free transit counter where you will apply for a temporary entry permit by declaring the same thing and also by presenting your tickets. You will be granted a permit free of charge because you will have to collect your luggage and perform a recheck for your onward flight to Hong Kong.
