Hello we are travelling into shanghai and departing on a different airline the same day 10 hours

Later. The online 144 hour service application asks for an address in China, however we do not have one as we are not staying overnight. Any suggestions

Actually, you will not travel on 144 hour TWOV, but on 24 hours TWOV because your entire transit time in Shanghai will be less than 24 hours. Assuming that you fly on separate tickets and that you will have to collect your luggage and also to make a recheck for your new flight, you will approach 24 hour visa free transit counter upon landing where you will present your onward ticket and apply for a temporary entry permit. You will not be asked for an address in Shanghai, but if maybe asked, you will just tell that you will not use any accommodation and that's it.
