About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Transit 24h Guangzhou possible ?

Travelling from Helsinki to Guangzhou and within 24h to Tokyo on a seperate ticket and backwards the same. Is the transitvisa applicable. Example:
Helsinki - Guangzhou - Tokyo - Guangzhou - Helsinki

Yes, this is perfectly fine. You will be definitely eligible for 24 hour visa free transit both ways and your separate tickets are also fine. By the way, if you are a German citizen, you are allowed to stay for up to 144 hours during each of your stops in Guangzhou. In other words, if you want, you can make your layovers even longer that you have previously planned.

By the way, this is not a transit visa, since there is no any kind of visa within your itinerary. It will be 24 (or 144) hour visa free transit.
