About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

144 hour visa free transit with multi-city flights

Hello,

I am flying NYC - Beijing - Thailand - NYC all through one booking (the ticket has all four legs of the flight listed). Does this still apply for the 144 hour visa free policy? I have not seen an example of this anywhere and cannot reach anyone at the Chinese embassy to confirm. Thanks!

You really don't need to contact Chinese embassy for this because your itinerary along with your ticket option is perfectly eligible for 144 hour visa free transit in Beijing area. Simply speaking, there is no a single doubt about that.
